VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering for Friends of Strays is a fulfilling experience according to those who do so. Volunteers are the heart of our organization and many a stray animal owes its life to Friends of Strays volunteers. Some work in the kennels,the office, the Thrift Store, help with mailings, pet animals, while others foster our pets in their homes.
A variety of volunteer positions is available. If you are interested in volunteering with us and you are over 17 years of age then either

(a) use the File Menu-- Print Preview/Print to print out the application (shown below), complete and submit it to Robert, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 2911 - 47th Avenue North, St. Petersburg 33714.

You will be contacted after your application is reviewed at the Shelter. Volunteers need to complete an orientation at 2911 47th Avenue N. Monday - Friday between the hours of 9-3.
